Western Beaver Jr/Sr High School

Open House will be held at the Jr/Sr High School on Thursday, September 16th, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Students and families will follow an abbreviated bell schedule that will mirror your child’s school day. There will be 7 ten-minute periods, allowing teachers to introduce themselves and review classroom expectations. If families arrive late, they will be asked to wait in the hallway until the new rotation begins. We hope to see you all next Thursday!

The PSAT and SAT are being offered on Wednesday, October 13th. The cost for PSAT is $20 and SAT is $55. Payments are now being accepted in the office. Cash only!

Reminder: Western Beaver has become a one-to-one school district! It’s important that all students come prepared to class every day with a laptop or notebook. A cellphone will not suffice! The district has a program available that will allow you to pay a yearly service fee of $75 to obtain a district-issued Chromebook for your child. Your child can pick up his or her Chromebook in the office once school begins. If you have any questions regarding this initiative, please contact the high school office at 724.643.8500. The first day of school for students is Tuesday, August 31!

Jr/Sr High Student schedules for the 2021-22 school year will be available in Skyward on Thursday, August 19th at 9am. Students will have the opportunity to make schedule adjustments August 23 - August 26 by stopping in the high school office or calling 724.643.8500. All schedule changes must be made before 2pm on August 26.

Chromebooks have finally arrived! We will hold device distribution nights on Monday and Tuesday, March 15 and 16, from 2:30 to 5:00 at the main entrance of the high school. Please remember, the cost of the device is $75, and it covers this year and next year's fees. If you already paid the fee and received a district device, you must return the old device before receiving a new one. No additional payment is needed.
